Welcome to the Game that teaches you how to make the right choices when investing for the long run

The aim of The Game is to aquire the most equity as well as to create the best cashflow position within a 20 year investment period, using the variables as generated by the application

To play The Game, you need to perform the following actions:

1. Click on the register button
2. Complete the registration form
3. Submit the registration form
4. You are now ready to play

How to play The Game

• Click on the "Login" button and complete the required fields to Login
• The Game interface, is in the form of a card table. You are dealt various cards in life and you must play the cards that are dealt to you
• When you start off, you get a salary of R 20 000,00
• Your first choice is to decide if you want to rent or buy your own place to stay
• Every financial choice you make in life, influences your cashflow as well as your equity value, so make your decisions very carefully
• If you decide, to buy a property, you are dealt a set of properties that you can afford with your available income
• After your selection, you can invest your available income in any of the other available investment vehicles
• If you are satisfied with the choices that you have made, you can click on the "Continue" button to view your balancesheet
• After viewing the balancesheet, click on the "Continue" button again, to progress to the next year

Repeat the process above until you have reached Year 20. When you reach this stage, you progress to level 2 of the game

Once you have completed level 2 successfully, you can progress to level 3

You can monitor your progress by reviewing the balancesheets of previous years at the top of the screen

You can compare your progress with the progress of others by clicking on the "High Score" button on the righthand screen

You can pause The Game anytime by logging off and then login when you want to resume the game
